We have just returned from a really great break at the Lee Valley Campsite in Sewardstone.
We love camping and have always wanted to try ‘glamping’, so we decided to book two nights in a family cabin, over the Bank Holiday weekend.
The family cabins look like little fairy tale cottages. They sleep four and come fully equipped with a fridge, kettle, microwave and TV! They are a really fun and practical way to have a campsite experience with young children.
Here’s a little look around inside our cabin…
The campsite staff were all very friendly and helpful and had lots of great tips on what to see and do in the local area.
The toilets and washing up facilities were very clean and well maintained and the campsite had a great little playground area to keep the kiddies busy.
There is also a footpath through pretty woodland to the River Lee if you fancy exploring. Lots of nature to enjoy along the way and blackberry picking.
We spent the evenings enjoying BBQs and toasting marshmallows. We even tried our first S’mores, which are ridiculously good!
The kids loved it and we will definitely return with friends again next summer!
